Interior Design Authority is a collaborative effort created by Richard W. Herb. The idea behind IDA is to bring a team of talented and qualified interior designers together to provide design services to clients while Richard Mentors the designers through the completion of the project. Our combined enthusiasm, expertise and attention to detail are what make our projects successful. From initial design to full implementation, our work is professional and comprehensive. With over thirty years of experience in residential and commercial remodeling and design, we are committed to understanding and executing our client’s vision.

IDA is instrumental in launching the careers of the designers who are involved. Richard and the designers work as a team to insure a meaningful learning experience while providing professional design services to the client. Working together on projects provides a fresh and creative approach to a design project while meeting the client’s needs and insuring that Richard’s many years of experience guides the Mentoree in a positive and successful direction. The designer team manages projects with hands-on experience through on-site project reviews on a regular basis.
